About the event
Relationship wounds often remain unresolved because apologies are offered in ways that minimize the hurt, shift responsibility, justify behavior, or seek forgiveness before genuine understanding has taken place. While these responses may reduce our own discomfort, they rarely help the other person feel seen, validated, or emotionally repaired.
This workshop explores what makes an apology meaningful and why taking responsibility is one of the most powerful acts of love and trust in any relationship. You'll learn how to replace the losing strategies of defensiveness, justification, and partial accountability with sincere ownership, empathy, and repair.
Substantial time will be dedicated to Q&A for deeper exploration as a group about why apologizing can be so difficult, what prevents us from taking full responsibility, and how to develop the art of offering apologies that foster genuine repair.
